Does privacy exist any longer in today's connected society?
This is the second part of WatchGuard Wire wildly popular "Security and Beer Roundtable" discussion (you can find my post on it here). This installment presented the group with one suprise question: Does privacy exist any longer in today's connected society? The answers were very intriguing.

The first article from the transcript of LiveSecurity's "Security and Beer Roundtable" evoked a large, enthused response from both WatchGuard Wire and Slashdot readers. By popular demand, we present another portion of this impromptu discussion among world-class security researchers, held at Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas, during Black Hat 2005.
At the end of the Roundtable (almost three hours after its scheduled start), LiveSecurity founder Steve Fallin closed by highlighting a quote ascribed to the chairman and CEO of Sun, Scott McNealy. The issue: does privacy exist any longer in today's connected society? Many of the thoughtful responses impressed us -- all the more so because the participants had no prior knowledge that the question would arise.
